I had a nice opportunity to try stacking my telecoverters on the 300 f4, This shot is the result of 300F4 2x 1.4x = 840mm, then if we include the sensor crop we are looking at over 1300mm of virtual magnification. Of course a tripod was used and IS was enabled as well I made sure I stabilized the whole rig with my body as I squeezed the shutter. Considering the amount of glass I am quite pleased with it.
I am not sure what the white is on it's right wing, maybe paint?
This is where I spend my in between split shifts for the last few days... nice place to take a nap :)
