Up near the Northern tip of Vancouver Island is Telegraph Cove. Out of that cove operates a tour company called Tide Rip Grizzly Tours. This is an opportunity of a lifetime to experience grizzly bears up close and personal without danger of being mauled or eaten, as the guides are very experienced and knowledgeable people who care about our environment and the wildlife that exists in this pristine area of Canada.
The bears gather in the Glendale Estuary located in the Knight Inlet on British Columbia's West Coast. These photos were taken from a twelve foot viewing platform where we quietly admired the bears and eagles for several hours before heading back for lunch on the boat.
